Wahiba Sands, also known as Sharqiya Sands, is a vast desert region in eastern Oman, stretching approximately 180 km north to south and 80 km east to west. Renowned for its striking red and white dunes, some towering over 100 meters, it offers an authentic Arabian desert experience. The desert is named after the Al Wahiba tribe, who have inhabited this area for centuries.

By Public Transport: No direct buses to Wahiba Sands. Take a bus to Al Wasil or Bidiyah, then arrange a 4WD transfer with a desert camp.
